In the kingdom of plentiful and peace
There was no more left any lease
The time to depart had arrived
Lucifer had won this game
Of the harrowing round of chess
Pieces on the board scattered
In a mighty royal mess

Adieu to the father of this living life
A caring and a doting queen wife
All passing through miserable nights
Waving goodbye was her only plight
Goodbye for now dear woman
With disgruntled friends and sons
A game it was not meant to be won

A view full of beauty and grace in exile
By the shimmering sea side tranquil
A new life was to begin and reside
Across from the window of his new palace
Lay the island of fine wine refined
A dance of intoxication was now destined
To become a daily swaying grind

And thus gathered in the heavens
Dark looming clouds of gloom
Hiding behind them a sad faced moon
Announcing the arrival of impending doom
The rain had to pour down
Outside from high above in the skies
Inside from saddened remorseful eyes.
