Upon the valley
Atop the mountains we stroll
Riding across the ocean
Smiling at the storms
Watching failure bewildered
We sat and questioned
“Why would the fig wither
Or would a matter float on water?”
But at his word, fear subsides
And doubts are caught asunder
Wielding through life’s scary storms
Prevailing amidst slopy grounds
Looking above our means
At our feet
Sorrow wails
We raise death itself to life
And shames impossibilities
Stirring from the heightened stairs
We stare
And watch death die its death
Come o come yonderlands
Rejoice and be glad in your tears
For today, bondage itself sets you free
And your losses
Are filled with gain
Breaking forth from chains of impossibilities
Raising above the negatives
Clinging on the living word
Drown your doubts
Fight your fears
Sail on,
On the boat of faith…
