Behold! The great mess that mankind has made
All in the name of science, commerce and trade
Progress and development became our tirade
Forcing the limits of Mother Nature’s blockade
Letting corrupted thoughts and morals invade
Then watched it defile humanity with its blade
From naturally evolving we artificially upgrade
Enslaved by the technology we proudly parade

The gods and monsters left us crumbs of bread
The signs where all there but they went unread
Indeed man was blinded by the ghosts in his head
Swooned by the lies and deceptions they spread

Intellectual insanity hanged on a frail thread
If only he could have foreseen what was ahead
Maybe he could’ve chosen another path instead
But now we are living a life that is already dead

We’re ran from the light to hide in the shade
Thus life has become a meaningless charade
In the course of time all innocence will fade
Brother against brother, comrade to comrade
Everyone justifying their own personal crusade
Most are entrapped in a materialistic escapade
Others indoctrinated into some radicle brigade
An imminent doom we’re too ignorant to evade

The gods and monsters left us crumbs of bread
The signs where all there but they went unread
Indeed man was blinded by the ghosts in his head
Swooned by the lies and deceptions they spread

Intellectual insanity hanged on a frail thread
If only he could have foreseen what was ahead
Maybe he could’ve chosen another path instead
But now we are living a life that is already dead

These are consequences of the lies we’ve led
Humanity’s future hopes are on a death bed
How could man’s great mind be so misled?
Into falling prey to the very demons he fed
Lots of painful tears continue to be shed
Lots of young blood has already been bled
Misguided souls are painting the world red
Many innocent lives lost to evils we’ve bred
