When oppressed or depressed
When deeply distressed
Under a mountain of worry
Just smile.
When you have promised to keep
Miles to go before you sleep
Just stop for a while
Just smile.
When wrongly utilized
Ridiculed or subdued
Don’t be angry
Just smile.
When tragedy rips you off with all its might
As dearest ones depart
Have a good cry for a while
And then… Just smile.
It’s a magic cure my friend
To keep your mind safe and sound
All year round
So then… Just smile.

Hello Rajan
This is a very well written poem. A path to be followed through thick and thin, in all times of difficulties, the magic and charm of a smile can overcome all the hurdles of life with greater strength and ease and overpowering the shortcomings, despair, tragedy, distress through the power of a smile!
