Patita,
They call you Patita,
But you are not
Fallen and degraded
And characterless
And if they,
Let them, let them
As you are not,
Not Patita,
But Punita,
Miss Fallen not,
But Miss Pure & Chaste
And those
Who call you characterless
Are themselves
The most degraded fellows
To have been met.

You are after all a woman,
A woman helpless and hopeless
On the paths of life,
With the situations
Given otherwise,
Not at all a characterless woman,
Corrupt and fallen,
Fallen and degraded,
You are the same,
Same
Whom we see in the homes
As mother, sister and daughter.
