Olden-day papa,
I mean strict disciplinarian dad,
English not,
Indian father,
Odd and old,
Out-moded and out-dated,
Conservative and orthodox,
Always ordering,
Always commanding father,
Maintaining age-gap,
Generation-gap
Old and conservative father,
Old-time papa,
Older dad,
Scolding, chiding
And rebuking
And the son fearing him most
The tight father,
The strict disciplinarian dad,
Where had you been,
What did you,
Always asking,
Always instructing
Father,
Tight and strict?

Do not sit with me,
Do not go with me,
Do not come along,
Do not talk with me
So much
As have grown,
Grown up,
Do not talk with me,
Do not move with me,
Do not sit with you,
You a young boy,
I an old man,
The ismic father talk I,
Discuss I in my poetry.

Olden-age papa,
Dad,
I mean father,
You cannot smile,
You cannot talk with him,
Cannot follow him,
A man so hard,
So strict and difficult
To deal with,
A strict disciplinarian
Always instructing
To go by rules and regulations,
Customary beliefs and traditions.

Olden-age papa,
Tight and tough papa,
Strict and hard papa,
I mean dad,
My dad,
Your dad,
Their dad,
Dad dad,
Papa, papa,
Indian papa,
Not English papa,
Tight and hard of heart
With nothing to be emotional,
Always trying to be didactic
And moralistic.
