Thou no man is ever a model of perfection
It is not an excuse to waddle in imperfection
Man’s inaction or circumstantial defection
From gifted arts of his passionate affection
Devours his dreams like a phantom infection

He who chases his dream and projection
At times sails in a stormy sea of rejection
Tides of ridicule, criticism and objection
Try to drown you with waves of dejection
Never succumb to the winds of subjection

The drawing of our gifts is a natural attraction
So be not afraid to put your talents into action
By giving it your everything not just a fraction
You and tribulations are bound for interaction
Your destiny and fate shaped by your reaction

Conquer inner demons of self-insurrection
Believing in oneself begets a robust erection
That grants life true meaning and direction
Losing hope and giving up are a misdirection
Your faults and weaknesses need correction

Success and failure are indeed your selection
Limitations encountered are of your election
Fears and doubts form an inhibiting collection
If you fall get back up! Give quitting a deflection
Learning from past mistakes is a great reflection

The drawing of our gifts is a natural attraction
So be not afraid to put your talents into action
By giving it your everything not just a fraction
You and tribulations are bound for interaction
Your destiny and fate shaped by your reaction
