The King Who Cried

The King Who Cried

In the kingdom of plentiful and peace
There was no more left any lease
The time to depart had arrived
Lucifer had won this game
Of the harrowing round of chess
Pieces on the board scattered
In a mighty royal mess

Adieu to the father of this living life
A caring and a doting queen wife
All passing through miserable nights
Waving goodbye was her only plight
Goodbye for now dear woman
With disgruntled friends and sons
A game it was not meant to be won

A view full of beauty and grace in exile
By the shimmering sea side tranquil
A new life was to begin and reside
Across from the window of his new palace
Lay the island of fine wine refined
A dance of intoxication was now destined
To become a daily swaying grind

And thus gathered in the heavens
Dark looming clouds of gloom
Hiding behind them a sad faced moon
Announcing the arrival of impending doom
The rain had to pour down
Outside from high above in the skies
Inside from saddened remorseful eyes.

DANCING STEPS ON STRINGS

DANCING STEPS ON STRINGS

Dancing steps on strings
Guitar sounds soul stinging
Spying the moves…

What a night of fantasy dreams
Wetness streaming down
From the trickling rain…

Shiny dew drops
Crawling on the petals
Of a budding rose flower…

With beats of drums
Swaying of hips
Rhythm on sweet lips…

O’ what a refreshing sight
Will she hear this plight
Help me make it through the night…

For the end is near
Love of my life is now and here
To lead me to Heaven…

DRUNK…..With Your Love

DRUNK…..With Your Love

O my dearest Treasured Trove of Love…
How can I forget the way you left me
In my hands resting an empty glass
to keep me forever thirsty…alas…

A cocktail laced with….
The memories of your beauty
The honey from your tongue
Garnished with the rosy petals of your lips
The hazy daze of your presence I gaze
The charm of your beauty
The sleeping pill of my desires
The magic graze of your finger nails
In the cushion of my last lap of peace…

The cocktail served with fire and ice
In the cup of my yearning heart
Shall chain me for the rest of my life
In the intoxicated dungeons of a Castle
Of the destiny of my fateful past…

The seeker keeps on seeking
The would be giver keeps on hiding
My lines wrote, my words spoke
All have gone home and I sit alone
Waiting with the last lost hope
The rain will bring my love home
And forever more, shall I not be alone…

A NEW BEGINNING… †

A NEW BEGINNING… †

Two hands reached up and tugged my sleeve…
Down I fell plucked from my deep sleep…
In a sack full of others like me to weep…
They skinned us alive and stripped us of our seeds…

Into the juicer we got flung…
The motor started and my heart was hung…
My shapely form got crushed to fluid…
My figure no more, just a juice now…just another fruit…

RESTING IN PEACE… †

Don’t be sad my child said mamma orange juice…
God had willed me to turn into this fluid of health…
My son you grow to become a mighty orange…
And sow your seeds far and wide in the orchard of life…

That our brethren and kin may flourish far and wide…
And save the world from weakness and disease…
For it is in our roots and genes to overcome them…
And do our bit to give this humanity a new health lease…

A NEW BEGINNING… †

MY LOVE PILGRIMAGE

MY LOVE PILGRIMAGE

English: Oasis near Ica in Peru

I searched for my name
A name I did not choose
It was given by someone…

Same stories repeat and echo
When my lover I lose
When love turns around to go…

Deserts have taken over the oasis
Serene shades of love displaced
In a lost game I have none to blame…

At the gate of treacherous love
The plaque has been replaced
My name has now been misplaced…

My moments of joy became
Immortal when she looked
Into my eyes with love…

Her beauty dwells deathless
And eternally hidden
Between my two beholding eyes…

She is my destiny written by Him
Her love is my pilgrimage
To the abode of my dreams…

Before the story of my life ends
My beginning with her will
Travel to my endless calm…
