IT STARTS WITH A DREAM

IT STARTS WITH A DREAM

From an existence so empty and hollow
From a path that is too steep to follow
From pain and regrets we can’t help wallow
From life’s truths that are bitter to swallow
The road to success starts with a dream

From the curse of always being an outcast
From the ghosts of a dark and murky past
From life’s opportunities that fade so fast
From life’s races that we always finish last
The spirit to fight on starts with a dream

From the efforts that continue to be fruitless
From a life that’s purposed to be meaningless
From life’s woes that render us powerless
From the despair that deem us worthless
The strength to endure starts with a dream

From the shadows of our greatest demise
From the very damnation of our own devise
From the darkness that eclipse the sunrise
From the many faults of which we comprise
The power to overcome starts with a dream

From the wolves that hide their true form
From life’s blows and grey clouds that storm
From fears of transcending from the norm
From closed minds to changes and reform
The hope of tomorrow starts with a dream

From the circumstances beyond our control
From our weakness where many evil’s patrol
From all addictions, sex, drugs and alcohol
From our ignorance of the divine and astral
The victory in battle starts with a dream

An Unpredictable Life

An Unpredictable Life

Family Poems

AN UNPREDICTABLE LIFE

I sit here now in darkness, living on my own
A life of existence, white walls, my home
With rooms which sometimes did resonate with laughter
Saw also tears of much sadness, pain, suffering and anger.

For death entered the lives, whom are now dearly lost
But also estrangement, which pursues me in silence, endlessly
Creating prison cells, of emptiness, aloneness and memories
Casting shadows within those silent, empty rooms.

The tears I shed quietly, along roads of darkness
Following footsteps of abandonment, this eternal loneliness
And utter sadness I feel, for those who have gone
The memories that will forever so quietly, linger on.

For the pain of the past, and fleeting glimpses
Which sometimes drown within my tortuous soul
Appearing vividly, when I allow them to be more than just images
Burn with searing heat, painfully, and once more take control.

Again, I think to myself, “Just leave me alone!
Haven’t I suffered enough from loss and love?
And paying the price too high for giving too much?”
For when you love too much, you always fall too hard.

No words could ever express, or even begin
To describe the desolation of loss, and of grief.
And the photographs of sometimes happier days
I dare not see, and are hidden, from even me.

Some days are just too hard and weary to travel
And nights seemingly drown in voids of blackness
Depicted within my mind, endless, and too barren
For I loved too much, and now am so saddened.

Life has not been that which I grew to believe
Providing me with a future of smiles and love
The sadness which I now find to be so close to me
Is sometimes my solace, my friend and all I can see.

My road through life has been rough and lonely
Though I have tried so hard to find joy and peace
Yet the faster I ran, to catch the winds within my grasp
They only blew harder, remaining just out of my reach.

For to have felt the love, which so many know
And arms to have held me, never allowing me to fall
The abandonment I feel, has left a huge void within my heart
And overwhelming memories of loss, encasing my whole.

I see families with smiles, holding hands with care
Reminding me yet again, of my own saddened emptiness
Another day awakens, though my spirit remains quiet
And night once more is filled with shadows of blackness.

I faithfully believed that with my truest given love
And commitment I gave to all of those in need
Would allow my life to be complete with joy and hugs
And tears would never fall through the love I never received,

My road, now, has almost now come to a close
And the weariness I feel will soon come to an end
Am so very tired, of the winds escaping my grasp
Running so hard to catch that which was not to be.

I have suffered the result of giving far too much,
For when you love too deeply, you fall too hard
Eternal nights will one day blend with summers of gold
Infinite tears will never again fall, and hearts won’t be cold.

Vivid memories of the past of things that never were
And realisation of all that should, and may have been
The struggles which always became more oceans to swim
Never reaching the end, for silence, for now, is my solitary friend.

MY BELOVED CAN YOU…….

MY BELOVED CAN YOU…….

MY BELOVED CAN YOU…..

My beloved can you …….
make me trace my foot-steps
on the waves of breeze?
stop the beating of my heart and
still keep me alive?
ask the stars and moon to
stop shining , ask the sky to glitter?
ask the earth to revolve around moon ,
but not the earth around moon ?
ask the KURUNJI flower to bloom
every year , not 13 years once?
ask the heaven to send water falls
to my threshold, not me going to it ?
ask the Time to retrace its steps
as it moves only forward?
ask the moon to show me its other side,
as I always see its one side?
ask the death to dance with life
where we all are comfortable with it?
ask the hate to get plastic surgery
and turn into REAL LOVE on earth?

LOVE

LOVE

LOVE

Love is not sex
Love is not seduction
Love is not lust
Love is not desire
Love is not seeking
Love is not bargain
Love is not condition
Love is not expectation
Love is not noise
love is not word
Love is not sorrow
Love is not death
Love is not matter
Love is not time
Love is not a path
Love is not destiny
Love is not pain
Love is not naught.

Love is divine
Love is bodiless
Love is perfume
Love is eternal
Love is devotion
Love is surrender
Love is vision
love is unborn
love is flux
Love is movement
love is worship
Love is holy
Love is bliss
Love is freedom
Love is serenity
Love is silence
Love is void
Love is beginning
love is ending
love is invisible
Love is being

Love WHOLE.

Daily Gift

Daily Gift

Daily Gift

Each day of each year is special,
Each is a blessing from our lord.
When kindness reigns all is well,
Love of each other is the tone.
Cheerful joy is spread to all folks,
No matter religion, creed or color.

Each day we hold to be sacred,
Goodness needs no special occasion.
Good deeds need not be surprising,
But should be the norm in all we do.
To all we meet friendship freely given,
Standing together against all social evils.

Each day held up as a wondrous gift,
Birds chirping messages of divinity.
Selfish tendencies to be abandoned,
We cherish each moment, each breath.
Forward progress to civic responsibility,
Responsible for our poor and destitute.

Each day is our renewed pact with God,
His promise of protection in the sun.
New rays to wash away the past hurts,
Each person bathed in absolving rays.
Know then that the time is close,
When our Judge will ask,”Who loved pure?”
