Make up your mind

Make up your mind

Wing drying pose

In the summer you yearn for only frosty days
But when it’s freezing, you want only sunny rays
When it is dry, you call for the rain to aide
But when it is raining, you run to the cozy shade

When you are in a crowd, you want to be all alone
But when you are solitary, you long for baritone
When you are a child, you want to grow up fast
But when you are an adult, you yearn for your past

What are you looking for here?
There’s nothing here to find
All you need to do is
Simply make up your mind

When you are free, you want to be occupied
But when you are busy, you want to be pacified
When you are laughing you want to sober down
But when you are quiet, depression only mounts

When you are poor, you feel jealous of the rich
But when you earn a lot, you hide it in a ditch
When you are ugly, you envy the good looking
But when you are beautiful, you worry for it glooming

Why are you always in doubt? [avatar user=”Abhik Shome” size=”100″ align=”right”] There is no reason to cry and whine
Love is the only constant you will find
When you understand that fact
The voice in you will make up your mind.

Leaves coveting each sunbeam...

Leaves coveting each sunbeam…

Dreaming of the clearest brook
And true words the clearest flow,
Musical sounds cascading
To hushed valleys laid below,
Past oaks of profound beauty,
Leaves coveting each sunbeam,
Their music sounds, cascading,
Falling, go riding the stream,
Here too, profound her beauty
As unseen currents pull,
For small pebbles rolled over
Find room in a heart so full, [avatar user=”Adam Whitworth” size=”100″ align=”right”] I stand and sway as the reeds
One with the brook in repose,
It’s here I meet my truelove
And the hour agreed is close

I sprinkled tears on it and nurtured it...

I sprinkled tears on it
and nurtured it…

In my eyes
I reared
A colourful dream

I sprinkled tears
on it
and nurtured it

Then dipped it
in the
elixir of my heart

With wonder
in my eyes
I saw it developing

I found traces
of myself
in it

Suddenly, one day
the grown up

Came to me
and asked me
“Who are you?”

I missed a heart-throb

Why did I
dream? [avatar user=”KIRTI VAGHELA” size=”100″ align=”right”]

Just to lose
my own

Below the Sunlight

Below the Sunlight

Who remembers whom.
Who cries for whom.
Who waits long for you.
Dressed in the silence we pass without recognitions.
Into the empty streets of unforgettable pain.
No doors to open up.
No smile to hug you. [avatar user=”Neel” size=”100″ align=”right”] No witness to wipe for the truth we carry.
Everyday the dark tunnels wait for the defeated.
Wait to put the terminal seals.
Once the confessions are over and the sufferers let the tormentors rejoice.

For it is Written

For it is Written

For it is written…

He loves me
He loves me not
Black and white
The questions we often ask
That bleed into gray

She sees me
She sees me not
Eyes wide open or Eyes wide shut
The question I always ask
That makes me blue

Black & blue
This bruise of not knowing
Spreads thin
The dark clouds on horizon
A storm of unanswered questions

Storms shall visit and depart [avatar user=”Vijay-Vaghela” size=”100″ align=”right”] Unknown will be known
Crystal white
It is written we shall never be apart.
